A Self-Care Meditation Journey to BaekDamSa Temple in InJe

“Retreat” comes from the idea of

 “stepping back” or “moving aside.”

Today, it refers to taking a special time

away from daily life to care for yourself

    through meditation, rest, and reflection.

It is a moment to pause the busy flow

of life, to breathe with nature,

and to recharge your body and mind.

This is the meditation retreat

 we have prepared for you.

self-compassion, and loving-kindness,

and was developed by U.S. clinical psychologists

Dr. Christopher Germer and Dr. Kristin Neff.

What Is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness means being fully aware of
all the emotions, sensations, and thoughts
that arise within yourself.

 with kindness and acceptance
to your own mind and experiences

as you become aware of them.

It is the practice of treating yourself with care
and holding a loving attitude toward yourself,
just as you would toward someone you cherish.
